Introduction

A full-scale arrival of the aging society, changes in industrial structures, and shifts in labor conditions due to technological innovation have caused controversial work-related disorders which are represented by the recent increase in lifestyle-related diseases and work-induced stress in employees. Fukuoka Occupational Health Support Center serves as an active base to further promote occupational health activities within Fukuoka Prefecture. With an eye to maintaining and increasing workers’ health, our center provides assistance to occupational health physicians, public health nurses and other concerned officers and organizations in the field of occupational health. Our services are available in principle free of charge. Please be assured that in using our counseling services, the confidentiality of the information obtained is strictly protected.
